Kosher for Passover Food in Eugene — 2 Comments

  1. Hi
I’m new Senior lady in Eugene. Is there anyplace to buy food or that has a Seder in the West Eugene area? I don’t drive so it’s hard for me to get around.

    • Hi Pattye A.

I do not know for sure of any place in west Eugene that will have Passover food. I suspect Fred Meyers would have a section, but I haven’t been there, so I can’t say for sure.

What I do know is that Haggen’s on Hilyard and 30th has, by far, the best selection of Passover food. Perhaps senior services could find you a ride there? The Jewish Federation of Lane County might have info regarding that.

As to Seders in West Eugene, I would suggest calling Temple Beth Israel. I recently received an email from them saying that are looking to match up seder guests and seder hosts.

Best of luck and have a happy Passover,
      Shmuel Shalom Cohen
